Reading frequently to children and engaging them in stories gives children opportunities to thrive, supporting future language structure. Language comprehension really does start at birth, continually developing while we talk to our children about the world around us and share endless stories. StoryBox aims to instil the love of books right from the word go!

Babies, toddlers and small children use their senses to help explore and understand the world around them. At StoryBox we provide many opportunities for sensory play, using a multisensory approach which is more engaging for our little people! You’ll experience music, lights, bubbles and so much more. Regularly playing in this way helps with cognitive development and supports growing brains to develop stronger connections as they learn how to process and respond to different stimuli.

Music is a big part of StoryBox and live music gives a unique element to our classes. Not only will you experience live musical performances but also the chance to use different instruments yourselves!  Music initiates an emotional response and adds depth of meaning to the stories that we use. Music is a universal language supporting our emotional well-being and allowing creative expression, coming to StoryBox sessions will be a tonic for all – not just our babies and toddlers!
