As lots of you know already, I spent many years working full time as a teacher, Key Stage lead and part of the Senior Leadership team in a lovely Infant School in Bath. I loved my job but if you are a teacher you’ll know this means 60+ hours a week at times! The 9-3 teacher life is really not a thing!

After having my children I went back to teaching. 3 days at first, then 4 days and then soon realised how often I was home ….. not a lot and if I was, I was preparing, planning etc etc! I loved teaching, loved the classroom and the children however, for me, I just wasn’t home enough doing what I needed to for my own little people!

Today, I dropped my 4 year old to school, then took my youngest swimming and after that went to watch my 7 year old in her school fun run! All things I couldn’t have done in my previous life!
